A Passion Rekindeld

So, I decided to push past my total hatred of the 3 1/2 years I spent in Photography class and try to get back into photography. I think I may have accomplished that. Of course, I'm not saying I will be posting everything I do on this blog, but I might as well try. The images I took today include: a picture of some "black" tulips, some red and white tulips, lilacs, and other leafy things. Mostly I just took pictures of tulips and lilacs to figure out my aperture settings. Which, I have a better idea about. My favorite picture is the one of the red and white tulip from beneath. OK, well I hope that you enjoy my photos, and I will try to keep posting. If anyone is reading this, I implore you to comment and let me know what you think.

Camtasia Videos

So, I've been working with this program Camtasia in order to take videos of what I'm doing while I'm in Photoshop. Later on, I'll use this make video tutorials for people. Right now, I'm just trying to see if these videos will even show up on my blog. So, if they show up, I hope you like them. And, if they don't, I'm sorry.

Silence

My word for my final project was Silence. At first I tried to take pictures of snow falling, no thanks to my mom. But, I then decided that we consider silence as not talking. So, I took pictures of inanimate objects that, even though they make noise, they don't talk. I tried to represent that with the picture of the dog with a rubber band around it's mouth. Afterward, I took pictures of inanimate objects. The picture of the Owl Cafe is a bit of a joke, since the cafe is hardly ever open. I also took a picture of an old, deteriorated building to show that it is silent with no occupants. Going back to the no speaking part of this project, the picture of the dog staring at the food explains that he wants food, but can't say it.
In all, this is my project about silence.
