Grunge Styled Flowers

Hi all! I haven't been on for a while, but I did decide to post something today. Anyway, today I'm just going to post something I did in Twitch's class out of boredom. Basically, I used the shape and the pen tools to create the flowers, then I used grunge styled brushes to create the edges and then, I used textures from the Internet to get the background. Finally, I used the bucket tool to create the colors and set the layers to color. And, here you have it. A piece of art that only took a total of 3 hours.

Senior Portraits

Ok, well my last blog post failed to show up any pictures. So, this time, I'm going to just go ahead and post a quick post about my senior portraits. My mom took them, but she "allowed" me to edit them. She was a little strange about how she wanted them to look, but you don't argue with my mother. So, basically, there was only 3 that turned out any good, because my mom has no idea how to take pictures. Anyway, these are my favorite and the last one is the un-cropped version of the one I used.

Summer Fun....

Anyway. I've been rather lazy with Photoshop and more interested in movies. So, as for what I've been doing int he past 2 and a half months, I've been experimenting with the pen tool, brushes, and layers. This first one I used the pen tool and was experimenting with how to get a mirror image look. I ended up making a crest of some sorts with a background. As for the next one, something I did when I was still in school, but I changed it quite a bit. Anyway, I used the pen tool for the shape and the brush tool on scatter for the background and radial blurred it. The next, I used floral patterned brushes and rearranged them to look like a bird. I did the same as the first for he background. And, finally, I used the pen tool to create this butterfly in hopes of making it look Tribal. I failed, but I still like the way it turned out.
